We recommend that you enable setting option Select object after creation in Tools/Option/Objects. If you enable this option, then extend button >> will be show after you draw rectangle or trendline.
Extend rectangle
After you draw rectangle the button >> will be created if rectangle is selected. When you click on this button, then the rectangle will be extended into future.
Extend trendline
After you draw trendline the button >> will be created if trendline is selected. When you click on this button, then the trendline will be extended into future.
Extended rectangle and trendline example
This is how extended rectangle and trendline will look like on your chart. Selected rectangle or trendline will have visible action buttons. Prices will be shown or the right side. You can also hide prices in indicator Input properties. If you want to stop extension for rectangle or trendline, then click on button << and object will be no longer extended.
Name of rectangle or trendline will be displayed on the right side. You can also hide names if you click on button No text. Rectangle size will be calculated and displayed on the left side.

"Text" button that gives options to display rectangle or trendline text in all possible spots around or inside object. This works for non-extended rectangles and trendlines where we would like to have object name displayed in suitable place around or inside object

When you click on button Engulf then rectangle will trigger alert notification when price will engulf extended rectangle.

You can enable risk reward ratio mt4 with click on button Buy RR or Sell RR. Horizontal line will be displayed, and it will show Risk Reward ratio and pip distance between extended rectangle and horizontal line. You can select and move horizontal line to get your risk reward calculation information. You can hide Risk Reward line with click on button.
